A new 985,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Medical Center Replacement near Ramstein Air Force Base in Kaiserslautern, Germany. This facility serves active duty military personnel and their families, as well as stabilizes soldiers returning from deployments across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The campus includes multiple structures such as clinical and administrative buildings, patient and diagnostic wings, logistics and utility facilities, as well as parking and ambulance garages. Sustainability was a major focus, with features like green roofs, natural ventilation, and enhanced energy performance supporting a LEED Silver baseline. The project was completed to 20%, then handed off to local designers. Upon completion, this will be the largest U.S. military hospital ever built overseas.
