University of Wyoming War Memorial Stadium West Side Renovation

In the fall of 2003, Structural Solutions LLC was again hired by the University of Wyoming as the prime consultant for the replacement and renovation of the upper west stand of War Memorial Stadium.  Constructed in 1971, the upper wet stand was exhibiting signs of major deterioration due to the harsh winter elements common to the region.  As a result of the initial study the previous year, the structure had been deemed unsafe for occupancy for the next football season.  Design began in the fall 2003 and construction was completed in time for the first football game in September 2004.
