DigitalGlobe Headquarters

Structural and civil engineering design services for a corporate headquarters building and associated parking structures. This 4-story, 460,000 SF research and development facility features a glass-enclosed entry lobby shaped like a satellite dish. This same building was constructed as a protoype in Chicago with a different structural engineer. For the Westminster version, Martin/Martin improved the structural system to save over $1M in construction costs. The project included two, 1,200-car parking garages. The design is all precast construction and features two pedestrian bridges to the main building, an underground tunnel connecting the 2 garages, and a 23′ high retaining wall.
