Martin/Martin performed master wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and water reuse planning for the 3,000-acre Sterling Ranch Development and associated Dominion Water and Sanitation District, and we initiated the preliminary effluent limits and Site Application permits for the development of 1,000 houses. As part of the master planning effort, Martin/Martin evaluated multiple types of treatment processes, the existing Roxborough WWTP, decentralized WWTPs, both temporary and permanent WWTPs, and a 200,000 gpd WWTP. As part of a subsequent design-build contract, and the only portion of the project constructed, we led design of six miles of sewer interceptors and a 720 gpm lift station with five miles of force main.
