Martin/Martin New 2019 Promotions Announced

31 STAFF MEMBERS EARN MARTIN/MARTIN PROMOTIONS

LAKEWOOD, COLO. – Martin/Martin, Inc.’s 2019 promotions include three new principals, three associates, and an additional 25 staff members:

Principal Ben Bromiel, PE
Bromiel has 17 years of experience performing detailed investigations for existing structures. He specializes in parking garage structures and concrete failures. Bromiel and his team are currently assisting several regional and national clients with structural assessments to determine repair needs and establish maintenance schedules.

Principal Scott Paling, PE, LEED AP
Paling’s work has focused on civil site development for retail centers, commercial, industrial, residential, and criminal justice facilities. Using his extensive land development and public works project experience, he provides clients with cost-effective design while resolving issues and avoiding unnecessary delays. Paling joined Martin/Martin in 1998.

Principal Garth Scholl, PE, SE
Scholl has 21 years’ experience in the Architectural/Engineering industry in Colorado, Wyoming, and California. During his Martin/Martin career, he has specialized in education, office, medical, and sports facilities. Scholl has worked extensively on University of Wyoming structural projects and is based in the Cheyenne Martin/Martin Wyoming office.

Associate Ryan Byrne, PE, CFM, LEED AP
As a Certified Floodplain Manager, Byrne provides stormwater and floodplain management services for projects throughout Colorado. He has completed master drainage studies, floodplain mapping, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, channel and regional flood control facility design, and major storm sewer system rehabilitation. Byrne joined Martin/Martin in 2007.

Associate Brent Hanlon, PE, SE
Hanlon has 12 years of design experience with analysis, structural design, and field observation of a variety of structures including sports/recreation, retail, residential, special structures, and industrial facilities. He specializes in alternative materials design including fiber reinforced polymer, design-build delivery, and integrated structural design and detailing.

Associate Kyle Messmer, PE
Messmer manages site and land development projects. He has considerable experience with the design and construction supervision of site improvements, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems, highways/roads, and zoning submittals. He joined the firm in 2005.
