This 336,800 SF building houses the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences; the biochemistry portion of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry; and additional biotechnology researchers from the Colorado Initiative in Systems Biotechnology.
The facility features highly efficient and flexible laboratories with the latest in technology, all built around the concept of interdisciplinary research and collaboration. The building also includes an auditorium, seminar rooms, classrooms, computer rooms, and teaching labs. Other amenities include a gallery, café, and conference rooms organized around an interior main street.
