Martin/Martin completed a series of several projects at this 35-year-old parking garage that serves the Performing Arts Center. We have conducted an overall facility assessment, engineered emergency repairs, and developed a multi-year repair program targeting structural and waterproofing repairs. In 2015, Martin/Martin prepared construction documents for repairs and waterproofing of the entire top level. In 2016, we designed and oversaw the repairs to the highest priority repairs on the lower level identified during our previous condition assessment.
Upon completion of the 2016 repair project, we produced construction documents for the remaining repairs on garage levels one through seven. During each construction project, the City selected contractors by low bid from a pre-approved on-call list. Martin/Martin attended regular construction administration oversight meetings for the past and current repair projects to help ensure repairs were implemented in accordance with our designs and specifications.
