Fort Collins, Colorado

Martin/Martin provided civil engineering services for the Translational Medicine Institute (TMI), a 130,000 SF, $78M animal research facility on CSU’s Veterinary Medicine Campus in Fort Collins, Colorado. Civil scope on the project included site design, utilities, and master planning for the spotlight facility for the CSU south campus. The facility includes laboratory, operating, imaging, classroom, and assembly spaces to facilitate research and and education in areas such as stem cells, engineered tissues and organs, regenerative therapies, and biological therapies. The project also includes a 48-stall luxury horse barn and west side green space. The master planning effort required collaboration with the public-private development and consultants to plan the vision and amenities for the future of the campus.
