The new stage roof at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre conveys emphatic architecture while settling into its surroundings. An exposed wood ceiling with painted steel framing compliment the natural backdrop defining the venue while splayed columns mimic tree trunks branching upwards in support of the expansive roof. Steel connections within the roof framing are carefully detailed to maximize openness of the roof while providing sprawling coverage of the stage.   An innovative rolling rigging grid in combination with a tension grid walking surface reduces the time it takes to rig each of the 150+ annual concerts, resulting in a reduction in rigging costs.
