Weekly Education Opportunities and Associated Credits
Offered weekly, in-house continuing education classes advance the technical development of our employees. Participation in these weekly classes is reported as continuing education units and documented per state licensing requirements.
Mentorship
The heart of education at Martin/Martin, mentorship is a key way engineers learn and share their knowledge throughout the company. Our mentorship committee formally pairs mentors in addition to project mentoring within your engineering team.
BIM/CAD Training
New employees participate in BIM/CAD training, in small class settings, shortly after starting at Martin/Martin. This is designed to enhance drafting knowledge while providing an understanding of current company standards for both production and design.
Young Engineers Forum
Focused on recent engineering graduates, this forum highlights the specific questions most engineers have once they start their professional career. It is a safe space where no question is a bad question.
For recruits further along in their profession, Martin/Martin offers in-house Project Management Training as well.
Industry Organizations
Our employees participate in more than 150 local and national industry organizations. Through leadership roles and committee involvement, they help develop codes, standards, and best practices that shape the built environment. Many also serve in leadership and advisory roles that influence national policy and industry direction.
Higher Education Assistance
Martin/Martin supports employees’ efforts to increase their job skills and prepare themselves for advancement in their career. A formal course of study that is job-related or that leads to a job-related advanced degree may qualify for financial assistance.
