Suvarnabhumi, The Bangkok Airport, consists of seven interconnected concourses with a huge terminal building located at its center. The terminal features a 690’ by 2,920’ long-span roof, and the concourse roof is a space frame. Martin/Martin assisted in the design of the massive, moment diagram-shaped primary truss, the 240' secondary trichord member trusses, and the structural design of the terminal building with a point-supported glass curtain wall. The facility is over 5M square feet with 46 gates.
