Civil: Senior Construction Services Representative

Lakewood, Colorado

Martin/Martin, Inc. has an opening for a self-motivated experienced (12+ year) construction services representative within our expanding Program Management Group. The position provides diverse opportunities to work on program management (client representation/construction services), transportation, water/wastewater, municipal, and federal projects. Responsibilities will include client representation, council/board meetings, contract documents, and construction administration services such as bidding services, scheduling, budgeting, specifications, punch lists, site observations, and coordination with agencies, stakeholders, and clients. Additional tasks will include estimating, quantity take-offs as well as coordination with the design team, contractors, and other stakeholders. This is not an entry-level position. Required Qualifications: 

  • 12 plus years of field experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Previous experience in construction services and client representation
  • Strong knowledge of general civil design criteria
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read and interpret plans and details

Desired Qualifications:

  • Construction industry experience in both horizontal and vertical projects
  • Experience used AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or micro station/inroads to produce civil construction documents
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and details
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado
  • Ability to mentor others
