Veteran Civil Engineer Joins Martin/Martin Wyoming Office
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Long-time Wyoming civil engineer Ryan Rigg, PE, has joined the Martin/Martin Wyoming, Inc. office as senior project engineer.
Prior to joining Martin/Martin Wyoming, Rigg had worked for nearly15 years as a principal and part owner for a Cheyenne-based civil engineering firm. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming (UW) and holds professional engineer licenses in Wyoming and Colorado. Rigg’s expertise includes bridge, road and waterline design; development and civil site plan design, and drainage and storm sewer structures. Clients have included the State of Wyoming, the City of Cheyenne and the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities.
Rigg brings civil engineering expertise to the Cheyenne office, which, along with its predecessor firms has been providing structural engineering services to Wyoming clients for over 30 years. The office is staffed by eight structural engineers and managed by Principal John Shaffer.
“Ryan allows us to offer our clients a full spectrum of civil and structural engineering services,” Shaffer said. “He is a Wyoming native who has long-term relationships in the A/E field, extensive experience and fantastic enthusiasm. It’s as if we have won the lottery!”
Rigg echoed the sentiment, saying, “Martin/Martin Wyoming is a great fit. There is tremendous opportunity for me to pursue business opportunities, and provide high-quality service and innovative civil design solutions while establishing a strong civil presence at a well-respected Wyoming firm.”
Located at 4020 Laramie Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming, the firm became a subsidiary of Martin/Martin, Inc., of Lakewood, Colorado, in 2005. This partnership has allowed Martin/Martin Wyoming to use the additional resources and experience of a leading national engineering firm in its effort to provide state- of-the-art engineering services to its Wyoming clients. The University of Wyoming, LaramieCountyCommunity College, school districts, healthcare institutions, the State of Wyoming, airports, libraries and public administration entities are among such clients. Current projects include the Michael B. Enzi STEM Facility and the Half Acre Gym renovation and addition at UW, Ivinson Hospital Addition, FE Warren AFB Building 284, and Platte County Senior Nursing/Assisted Living Facility.
